Extensive renovation and refurbishment of a 1970's brick dwelling in Castletroy, Co. Limerick. The project involved the redesign of the ground floor to facilitate modern living.The dwelling required a complete overhaul of  electrical & heating systems throughout.

 

The thermal envelope was upgraded substantially, which was achieved with the addition of roof and wall insulation. The existing single glazed windows were replaced with double glazed units.

 

The ground floor now has a series of inter-connected living spaces and the addition of large sliding doors, further enhance the dwellers connection to the external spaces.
